Day 38 (Aug 7th)

Obviously, I have not been keeping a consistent cadence on updating this blog and while I am disappointed that I have let over a week go by with no posts, I am feeling positive on the progress of my training.  This past Saturday (Aug. 3rd) I completed a 10 mile long run at 9:40 per mile pace.  It was a tough run, primarily because I did not fuel well the night before and I had to push through a calorie deficit for most of the run.  Lesson learned. Instead of writing up the details on all of the activities, I will just update this post with my workout today.  Today's run was an aerobic run (with some tempo minutes).  It was a 4 and 1/2 mile run in my neighborhood at a 9:20 pace.  I felt pretty good on the run, did start to get a little tired at the end but overall felt positive.
